Timbers

We laminate all our timber window and door sections as a solid 3 or 4 layer configuration.  We offer a diverse range of timber species. Always a highly durable external timber, couple with a beautiful inner timber, for a desired effect and finish.

ETW+D was an early adopter of Accoya® timber, with outstanding durability,  and a guaranteed service life of 50 years. It's typically our first choice external timber. 

We also use Thermally Modified (TM) timbers;  Abodo®, Cambia® Ash, TM Oak,  TM Poplar (Tulipwood).

In Bush Fire resistant timbers for BAL requirements, we typically use Spotted Gum, Blackbutt and Ironbark.

We also offer a range of timber species internally, to complement the aesthetic, design or performance requirements. Our range of timbers include  American Oak, Nordic Redwood, Poplar (Tulipwood).  

We are delighted to offer timber from Hydrowood;  including Blackwood, Myrtle, Tasmanian Oak.

We offer a range of FSC, PEFC sustainable timbers.

We also source recycled timber where suitable stock is available.
